Como ya ocurriera hace un par de años con Barbie, este año Ken celebra su 50 aniversario por todo lo alto igualmente. En Núremberg (Alemania), donde hoy comienza la feria de juguetes más grande del mundo, Mattel presentó seis modelos (con sus respectivos modelos de carne y hueso, como ya ocurriera con Barbie) representativos de sus cincuenta años. ¿Cuál es tu favorito?

I break especially Barbie AA friends to speak of a celebration worthy of a mention. As happened a couple of years with Barbie, Ken this year celebrates 50 years as well. Nuremberg (Germany), where fair begins today the fair most largest of the toys, Mattel introduced six models (with their respective models of the flesh, as it did with Barbie) representing their fifty years of the doll. Este especial de las amigas negras de Barbie (pedido hace tiempo por Juli Revolver) me ha llevado más tiempo de lo que pensaba y el resultado no ha sido totalmente el deseado, pero he hecho lo que he podido. Intentaré dedicar cada día un post a una de las amigas de Barbie, y espero que os guste.
La primera amiga AA de Barbie, Christie, llegó en 1968, en su versión Talking llegando hasta la actualidad.

This special of Barbie’s blacks friends (called long ago by Juli Revolver) has taken me longer than I thought and the result was not entirely satisfactory, but I did what I could. Siento no haber actualizado en estos días, pero he estado un poco enferma (aún me encuentro algo mal de salud), asique os pido disculpas por ello. Hoy os traigo una prueba de amor en toda regla… Ken (en su reconquista oficial a Barbie) ha diseñado en la famosa «Magnolia Bakery» una magdalena especial, única, dedicada en exclusiva a Barbie. Desde luego Barbie no se puede quejar… no todo el mundo tiene una magdalena con su nombre en tan exclusiva pasteleria.
Los afortunados que vivan o visiten Los Angles o Nueva York podrán comprárse una, si alguien tiene la ocasión de disfrutar de ella… ¡que nos lo cuente!
