Con motivo de la gala de los Oscars que se celebra esta noche (y que siempre veo acompañada de mi pareja) me he decidido a enseñaros (a los que todavia no lo hayais visto) una de las últimas creaciones de Noel Cruz (un artista que customiza barbies y las vende por ebay), y cuyo trabajo a mi, personalmente, me apasiona. En más de una ocasión he puesto obras suyas en mis publicaciones. En esta ocasión se trata de las barbies de Anne Hathaway y Meryl Streep en la película «El diablo viste de Prada». Una película que a mi personalmente me gusta, no es una gran película cinetográficamente hablando, pero esta muy bien para pasar el rato, es divertida, fresca y es indispensable para los amantes de la moda en el cine. Ambas son dos actrices que me gustan bastante y que tienen mucho que ver con los Oscars, Anne Hathaway presenta la gala en esta edición junto a James Franco, y Meryl Streep es la mujer con más nominaciones a estos premios.
Las muñecas simplemente me parecen perfectas.

On the occasion of the Oscars to be held tonight (and I always see accompanied by my couple) I decided to show you (if you have not seen yet) one of the latest creations from Noel Cruz (an artist that customizes Barbie doll and sells them on ebay), and whose work for me, personally, I love. On more than one occasion I put his works in my publications. This time it’s the Barbie of Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep in the movie «The Devil Wears Prada. » A film that I personally like, is not a great movie, but is very well to hang out, fun, cool and essential for lovers of fashion in film. Both are two actresses that I like a lot and they have much to do with the Oscars, Anne Hathaway present the show tonight with James Franco, Meryl Streep is the woman with the most nominations for these awards.
In my opinion, the dolls seem just perfect.

Finalmente sucedió lo que todos esperábamos… Barbie y Ken han vuelto oficialmente. El «destino» ha querido que fuese el mismo día del año (San Valentín), solo que siete años depués de su ruptura, el día exacto en que el futuro de la pareja se volviese a unir. Finally Mattel did what everyone expected … Barbie and Ken are a couple officially. «Destiny» has wanted it to be the day of the year (Valentine), only seven years after its breakup, the exact day that the future of the couple together came back. I really liked the notice (although I was more than known). Congratulations to the couple! hehe

Hago parón en especial de amigas AA de Barbie para hablaros de una celebración digna de ser mencionada. Como ya ocurriera hace un par de años con Barbie, este año Ken celebra su 50 aniversario por todo lo alto igualmente. En Núremberg (Alemania), donde hoy comienza la feria de juguetes más grande del mundo, Mattel presentó seis modelos (con sus respectivos modelos de carne y hueso, como ya ocurriera con Barbie) representativos de sus cincuenta años. ¿Cuál es tu favorito?

I break especially Barbie AA friends to speak of a celebration worthy of a mention. As happened a couple of years with Barbie, Ken this year celebrates 50 years as well. Nuremberg (Germany), where fair begins today the fair most largest of the toys, Mattel introduced six models (with their respective models of the flesh, as it did with Barbie) representing their fifty years of the doll. What is your favorite?

Otra celebrity más que tiene su Barbie (aunque en este caso creo que no saldrá a la venta, si no que es una OOAK en homenaje a ella). La afortunada es Katrina Kaif, actriz y modelo hindú que ha aparecido en Bollywood, Telugu y películas Malayalam. Con sus 27 años se la considera la mujer más sexy de su país.
Muchos recordareis el homenaje que se le hizo a Barbie por su 50 aniversario en la «New York Fashion Week» de 2009, con lo que se conoció el «Barbie Runway Show» (para más información pulsa aqui). Pues esta Barbie es una reproducción de Katrina en el desfile. Seguro que os sonará.
