¡Hola a todos!

Aunque se ha hecho esperar, con esta entrada del blog finalizamos la breve pero intensa historia de Poppy Parker. El 2013 fue el año definitivo para mí, el año en que dije «ni una Poppy más se me escapa».

Para empezar la muñeca que ofrecían con la inscripción fue maravillosa en mi opinión. To The Fair Poppy Parker! fue comercializada por 135 dólares (incluyendo el precio de la inscripción al W Club) y su edición fue de 1175 muñecas.

¿Y qué hace vestida así? Poppy está llevando a cabo su mayor campaña publicitaria hasta la fecha que incluye anuncios en revistas, en la televisión y ¡hasta carteles! ¿Para qué? Para promocionar la Feria Internacional de 1964.

Poco tardó en llegar más novedades de Poppy ese año y en marzo del pasado año Integrity Toys sorprendió con una hermosa muñeca exclusiva para miembros del club: The Young Shopisticate Poppy Parker. ¡Nunca pensé que el amarillo y el rosa combinasen tan bien!

En la webinar de 2013 varios países o regiones pudieron verse representados en Poppy Parker, concretamente India, Suiza, Polynesia, Japón y España, con motivo del tema del año: la Feria Mundial de 1965 celebrada en Nueva York.

Fruto de otro acuerdo con la Paramount, esta vez de la popular película Barefoot in the Park (Descalzos por el parque), Poppy Parker volvió a homenajear al cine. Ella ‘haciendo’ de Jane Fonda como Corie y Chris Farnsworth III de Robert Redford como Paul Bratter.
