Los que tengan la suerte (qué envidia) de ir a París (Francia) antes del día 18 de septiembre, tendrán la oportunidad de visitar en el Museo de la Muñeca (Le Musée de la Puopée Paris) una exposición muy especial en la que Barbie y Ken se visten de personajes históricos (principalmente franceses) y repasan la historia de la moda a través del tiempo. A mí me parece una exposición muy original, ¿y a ti? Me encantaría poder ir a verla.

La verdad es que ultimamente estoy teniendo mucha suerte y es que encuentro en ebay las barbies que están en mi «lista de deseos» a muy buen precio. De hecho hoy he comprado otra, también de los 90, que a mi personalmente me encanta (ya os contaré). Pero he decidido para de momento, esto de comprar barbies se me está yendo de las manos, seguro que muchos me entendeis. Asique mi intención es parar aqui de momento hasta septiembre y comprar entonces la Badgley Mishcka, espero que me siga esperando entonces en la tienda 😛

Diez arquitectas francesas le han diseñado a Barbie una villa a orillas del Sena y a poca distancia de la Torre Eiffel en París. «La Villa de Mademoiselle B.», que es como se llama, se pudo ver en la Ciudad de la Arquitectura y el Patrimonio, en Trocadero, bajo el patrocinio de Mattel.
Su objetivo es crear colectivamente una casa a escala real de Barbie, 1/6, en la que poder mostrar las tendencias actuales en la arquitectura, con un acento especial en el cuidado del medio ambiente.
¿Y qué pasa con Ken? Bajo el lema de «A Bachelor’s House for Ken», los más jovenes visitantes, los niños, fueron los encargados de diseñarle un piso de soltero a Ken.
¿De qué se encargó cada arquitecta? Sophie Delhay se hizo cargo del tocador, Karine Herman del salón de belleza, Florence Lipsky de la zona de última tecnología y Gaelle Harmonic de una sala para celebrar reuniones de sociedad.
El «Urban Cottage» es territorio de Dominique Jakob, que diseñó el espacio para los grandes eventos en los que participa Barbie, desde un plató de televisión a una reunión con gente de la UNESCO o celebraciones más informales entre amigos. El espacio que más expectación ha levantado ha sido el «Secret Garden», obra de Raphaelle Hondelatte.
Contó también con un reservado para las mascotas, «Pet Land», hecho por Fiona Meadows, una zona específica para garaje y galería de arte, obra del equipo Jumeau y Marin-Trottin, y un comedor del que se encargó Isabel Hérault.

Continuamos en París 🙂 . En esta ocasión visitamos «Le Salon The Box», más concretamente el «Pavillon Cambon» en la Porte de Versailles, con motivo del «Salon du Prêt-à-Porter» de París.
Celebrando el 50 aniversario de la muñeca, renombrados diseñadores vistieron a la muñeca con vestidos negros, donde lo más importante de sus creaciones son los complementos con los que las acompañan. Sólo en París podrían darle tanta importancia a este tipo de detalles.
Meses más tarde, en Berlín y con motivo de su Fashion Week tuvieron la oportunidad de visitar esta impresionante exposición.

La última vez que fui a París visité las Galerías Lafayette-Haussmann, ojála me hubiera encontrado con esta exposición alli, pero yo fui unos meses antes.
Con motivo de su 50 aniversario (hay que ver la de cosas que hizo) en la primera planta de esta prestigiosa y espectacular Galería, durante el mes de abril de 2009 se expusieron numerosas Barbie, algunas conocidas y otras totalmente nuevas, vestidas por reconocidos diseñadores internacionales. ¿Qué Barbie os ha gustado más? ¿Alguien estubo alli?
